NYC PICNIC DATUM
No idea since when Intimacy toward nature become an unachievable dream far away from us. In the concrete jungle of NYC, Public parks are shrinkage and buried under the roaring of traffic.
In 2052, a drone prototype is invented, cruising around all the parks and cafes in the city to deliver fruits, pizzas, drinks and even ice creams. Its mission is to recall our memory and revive an activity people in cities have forgotten for 40 years: PICNIC.
The transportation network of picnic goods is set up based on two apparatus. One is the robot which can move within 300m around the subway station. It would be adopted to shuttle around stores, subway stations, and parks. Another one is the flagship which cruises around the station in a preset routine to finish the long-distance transportation.
