NYC Universities & Libraries

New York has this rich library resource and intensive schools. Therefore, in order to facilitate New York students to easily borrow all the books in New York City on campus, the New York Book Interaction System was created. The whole system operates through drones, and books are transported from the library to the students through a specific route, which greatly improves the students’ learning efficiency.

By focusing the map on Manhattan's financial district, students can learn more about the distribution of schools and libraries in the area. More importantly, the location of the Cornell APP is also placed in it.

The drone is shaped like a scorpion, hence the name Scorpion One. The Scorpion One's mission is to provide book mailing services to students, so its two pincers can effectively grab and carry a certain number of books for movement. The jets in the tail provide the driving force for the entire body, and the uppermost tail can assist the direction change of the drone. The Scorpion One's feet provide a safer way for drones to land.
